Senlin Online is a website design and development company run by Piet Bos. From late 1999 until September 2008 Piet has lived in Beijing, China, and he started making websites in 2004. Piet and his wife returned to Beijing at the end of August 2010 after an almost two year stay in Valencia, Spain.

The word senlin is Chinese pinyin for 森林, but obviously not an awful lot of people can read that. Senlin translated from Mandarin Chinese means forest and that is the English translation for Piet’s Dutch surname: Bos. Therefore the name Senlin Online would mean the online activities of Piet Bos.
